About the role

At Brightmont Academy, we offer a unique teaching opportunity as a Homework Studio Coach. This role involves overseeing students during independent learning time, known as Homework Studio, where students complete coursework-related assignments, practice study habits, build executive function skills, and take exams. The Homework Studio provides a supervised study lab with access to computers and a quiet work area, and your role is to motivate students to complete their tasks.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in your subject area (e.g., English, Social Studies, History, Government, Economics, or related fields).
• Patience and empathy, with a commitment to supporting students who learn differently.
• A genuine passion for teaching and sharing your subject with students.
• Proficiency using G-Suite and Learning Management Software (LMS).
• Ability to provide fingerprints (required in AZ and WA) and pass a federal background check.
