Parks Maintenance Worker - Part Time Temporary

Part-time, temporary position (not eligible for all benefits; will accrue paid sick time).

About the role

Performs a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled tasks including maintenance of all park facilities, janitorial duties, restroom cleaning, trash pickup, weeding, raking, painting, and special events preparation. Incumbents receive general supervision from a Lead Maintenance Technician, Coordinator, or Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all park facilities
• Perform janitorial duties, including restroom cleaning
• Pick up trash and perform grounds maintenance (weeding, raking)
• Paint and prepare facilities for special events
• Perform other duties as required

Requirements

• Must be at least 17 years old at the time of hire
• Possess a valid Arizona driver’s license
• Able to perform physical work outdoors under all weather conditions
• Evening, weekend, and holiday work may be required depending on special events

Pay

$19.00 per hour (non-exempt, eligible for overtime compensation).
