Essential Functions

  • Assist with maintaining parking records, event documentation, permit databases, and departmental files.
  • Support the preparation, distribution, and organization of parking permits, and event-related materials.
  • Help coordinate employee, guest, vendor, and event parking assignments and lists.
  • Aid in data entry, reporting, and tracking parking utilization and operational information.
  • Maintain inventory levels of parking supplies and assist with ordering and organizing materials.
  • Support special projects and other administrative tasks assigned by the Operations and Events team.
  • Monitor parking email account for all general parking inquiries daily.
  • Manage the internal parking request process, including input of license plate data and VIP information, coordination of parking passes with the Ticket Office, and verification of parking permits, credentials, and parking access compliance.
  • Facilitate parking-related issue resolution, including processing appeals, executing voids, and addressing general parking inquiries to ensure timely and consistent outcomes.

Parking & Event Operations

  • Assist with event-day parking operations before, during, and after Marlins home games and other events.
  • Observe, monitor, and track traffic flow and pedestrian safety initiatives within parking areas.
  • Support third-party partner parking requests, including coordination of parking needs and issue resolution.
  • Monitor parking facilities and communicate operational issues, maintenance concerns, or safety hazards to supervisors.
  • Collaborate with parking partners and internal staff to deliver a smooth, efficient arrival and departure experience for all ballpark guests.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, an accredited college or university program preferred.
  • Interest in sports management, event management, hospitality, business administration, transportation, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Availability to work select evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events. Must be available to work all Marlins home games.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests, staff, and vendors.
