Engineering Intern - Parking
About the role
We seek well-prepared students from top engineering schools to expand their education in structural engineering through our internship program at Walter P Moore. As an engineering intern in our structural engineering group, you will join project teams for various architectural projects, including commercial, sports, healthcare, and public assembly buildings. You will also have the opportunity to participate in our in-house staff development program.
Qualifications
- A sound technical background
- Strong communication skills
- Enthusiasm for the challenges of designing great structures
- A BS in Engineering, architecture, or completion of at least 24 hours of engineering/architectural coursework towards a BS in Engineering
- Accepted in or planning to apply for a graduate program in Civil Engineering with a focus on structural emphasis
- EIT preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Flexible scheduling but should be consistently available for a minimum of 20 hours per week
