Essential Job Functions
- Oversees field operations and personnel of the City's on-street and off-street parking management programs, including the Rio Grande Parking Garage, commercial core paid parking, residential permit parking program, all-day parking passes, carpool parking, special parking permits, construction parking and emergency vehicle access and other selected municipal code issues consistent with the organization’s values and mission statement.
- Executes leadership and supervision responsibilities through sound judgment, focusing on quality improvement, managing and resolving conflict, fostering a culture of accountability, clearly defining responsibilities and expectations, setting goals, providing motivation and performance feedback, recognizing contributions and encouraging training and development.
- Develop staffing schedules and ensure adequate coverage across all parking operations.

Minimum Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
- Experience: Three years of increasingly responsible experience in code enforcement, customer service or parking/facility operations management. One year of experience as a supervisor.
- Technical Knowledge: Must be proficient in the following areas: Microsoft Outlook Email, and a basic understanding of computers and online computer-based technology applications, which includes accessing web based platforms.
- Licenses & Certifications: Must possess a valid Colorado Driver’s License or be able to obtain one within 30 days of start date.

Work Environment
Indoors: Office environment. Outdoors/Off-Site: Parking locations, field activities. Meetings, trainings, and site visits at a variety of city facilities and areas.
