Parking Lot Attendant (Seasonal)

About the Role

Seasonal part-time Parking Lot Attendants work evenings and weekends at Rocky Mountain National Park. You’ll assist visitors arriving by car, bus, motorhome, or other vehicles in three parking lots: Bear Lake, Glacier Gorge, and Bear Lake Road Park and Ride.

Responsibilities

• Answer visitor questions about parking and direct them to alternative lots when their assigned lot is full.
• Monitor parking-space availability and respond to radio transmissions.
• Ensure vehicles park fully toward the curb and within marked lines.
• Keep restricted areas (bus stops, reserved spaces) clear of parked vehicles.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including direct sun and inclement weather.
• Stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
• Attend occasional meetings and training sessions.
• Work varied days and hours, including evenings and weekends.

Requirements

• Reliable commute or plan to relocate to Estes Park, CO 80517 before starting work.
• Driver’s License (preferred).

Pay

$23.30 per hour.

Schedule

• Part-time, seasonal position ending in late October.
• Day, evening, and weekend shifts.
