Parking Attendant

About the role

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Parking Attendant to join our team at Joe’s Auto Parks. This position involves maintaining our parking lots, ensuring accuracy in pricing and quantities, accepting payments, issuing receipts, answering customer inquiries, providing helpful information, responding to complaints, processing refunds or exchanges, and keeping the workspace clean.

Responsibilities

• Maintain parking lots and ensure accuracy in pricing and quantities
• Accept payments, issue receipts, and answer customer inquiries
• Provide helpful information about products, promotions, and item locations
• Respond to complaints and process refunds or exchanges
• Maintain a clean workspace
• Drive guest’s vehicles to the designated parking space in a safe manner
• Note all necessary information on claim tickets
• Secure all car keys and retrieve guest’s vehicle from the specified area in a safe manner
• Assist guests with opening/closing doors, etc.
• Show knowledge of the area, hotel/loft, directions, and events

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience preferred
• Ability to calculate and perform basic arithmetic functions
• Excellent verbal communication skills and basic computer skills
• Team player capable of working in a team environment
• Valid driver’s license
