Responsibilities
- Greet guests and initiate friendly interactions to provide exceptional guest service that exceeds expectations.
- Use empowerment to implement Dollywood’s 100% Satisfaction Guarantee policy.
- React calmly and quickly in stressful or emergency situations.
- Physically assist guests as needed.
- Serve as a Parking Facilitator, including:
- Observing areas of responsibility to ensure smooth traffic flow.
- Maintaining cleanliness, removing debris, and ensuring a professional appearance in assigned areas.
- Assisting with the placement of cones, barricades, and directional signage as directed.
- Directing traffic safely and efficiently using clear hand signals per Standard Operating Procedures.
- Completing daily written reports and submitting necessary paperwork.
- Maintaining urgency to reduce guest wait times.
- Assisting with other parking-related tasks as requested by management.
- Wear and maintain a themed costume issued by Dollywood.
- Operate vehicles and work in all weather conditions.
- Perform special projects as directed by management.
- Attend all required training classes and meetings.
- Comply with safety and security directives, policies, and procedures to ensure the safety of hosts and guests.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Follow all safety standards, including reporting any violations.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Basic computer skills.
- Must have fewer than three (3) traffic violations on record in the last three (3) years.
- Must not have a DUI conviction on record in the past 15 years.
- Applicants for driving positions must pass a post-offer vision test compliant with DOT requirements.
- Ability to safely operate company vehicles according to company policy; must have a valid driver’s license, proof of auto liability insurance, and an acceptable driving record.

Physical and Cognitive Requirements
- Lifting and Carrying: Occasional to frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs., following company safety guidelines.
- Mobility: Intermittent to prolonged sitting, standing, and/or walking for up to 13 hours per shift. May require travel across property, including changes in terrain, stairs, and uneven surfaces.
- Repetitive Movements: May require performing repetitive tasks involving hands, arms, or other body parts.
- Environmental Conditions: Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including extreme cold and heat. May require working indoors and outdoors.
- Cognitive and Sensory Requirements: Strong cognitive skills, including critical thinking, problem-solving, processing and retaining information, attention to detail, and effective communication using approved methods.
