Parking Ambassador - Dollywood Theme Park - Full Time Seasonal

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and initiate friendly interactions to provide exceptional guest service that exceeds expectations.
• Use empowerment to implement Dollywood’s 100% Satisfaction Guarantee policy.
• React calmly and quickly in stressful or emergency situations.
• Physically assist guests as needed.
• Serve as a Parking Facilitator, including:
  • Observing areas of responsibility to ensure smooth traffic flow.
  • Maintaining cleanliness, removing debris, and ensuring a professional appearance in assigned areas.
  • Assisting with the placement of cones, barricades, and directional signage as directed.
  • Directing traffic safely and efficiently using clear hand signals per Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Completing daily written reports and submitting necessary paperwork.
  • Maintaining urgency to reduce guest wait times.
  • Assisting with other parking-related tasks as requested by management.
• Wear and maintain a themed costume issued by Dollywood.
• Operate vehicles and work in all weather conditions.
• Perform special projects as directed by management.
• Attend all required training classes and meetings.
• Comply with safety and security directives, policies, and procedures to ensure the safety of hosts and guests.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Follow all safety standards, including reporting any violations.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must have fewer than three (3) traffic violations on record in the last three (3) years.
• Must not have a DUI conviction on record in the past 15 years.
• Applicants for driving positions must pass a post-offer vision test compliant with DOT requirements.
• Ability to safely operate company vehicles according to company policy; must have a valid driver’s license, proof of auto liability insurance, and an acceptable driving record.

Physical and Cognitive Requirements

• Lifting and Carrying: Occasional to frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs., following company safety guidelines.
• Mobility: Intermittent to prolonged sitting, standing, and/or walking for up to 13 hours per shift. May require travel across property, including changes in terrain, stairs, and uneven surfaces.
• Repetitive Movements: May require performing repetitive tasks involving hands, arms, or other body parts.
• Environmental Conditions: Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including extreme cold and heat. May require working indoors and outdoors.
