About the role
As the Home Park & Recreation Director, you will lead a team responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining parks, recreation facilities, and programs. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in park management, community engagement, and strategic planning.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive park and recreation plans aligned with community goals.
- Manage and supervise staff to ensure effective delivery of services and programs.
- Collaborate with local government partners to secure funding and resources for park projects.
- Engage with the community to gather feedback and improve park offerings.
- Oversee maintenance and safety protocols to ensure all facilities meet high standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Parks and Recreation Administration or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in park management.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and allocate resources effectively.
- Strong leadership skills and experience in team management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
