About the Role

ELS is hiring for the position of Park Ranger-2 in Fremont, Wisconsin. This role involves patrolling the campground, ensuring guest safety, enforcing rules, and providing exceptional customer service in a resort environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the property for any issues or potential problems, ensuring proper security.
• Enforce resort rules, respond to areas of concern, and contact law enforcement if necessary.
• Validate incoming guests through the campground gate and confirm access eligibility.
• Perform routine patrols, golf cart and rental inspections.
• Handle camping reservations, check-ins/check-outs, and sell day passes and store items.
• Prioritize guest safety and happiness.
• Provide on-call emergency service as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills, with the ability to use computer applications.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong judgment and problem-solving skills to assess and resolve situations diplomatically.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and current auto insurance.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays on a regular basis.

Qualifications

• Experience in security, law enforcement, or an RV environment is beneficial.
