Park Equipment Operator or Senior Park Equipment Operator
About the role
The Park Equipment Operator or Senior Park Equipment Operator operates light and/or heavy equipment required in the upkeep and operation of the areas of responsibility. Duties include mowing and maintaining turf and landscaping, pruning and trimming trees and shrubs, maintaining landscape beds (mulching/pulling weeds), assisting with tree planting, and removing litter, brush, and debris in assigned areas.

Requirements
Qualifications for the Park Equipment Operator include:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Ability to operate various types of park equipment
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Qualifications
For the Senior Park Equipment Operator, additional qualifications include:
- At least one year of experience operating park equipment
- Experience with tree care and maintenance
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Skills

- Knowledge of park equipment operation and maintenance
- Ability to follow safety procedures
- Good physical fitness

Pay
The target hourly rate for the Park Equipment Operator is between $19.75 - $22.38; depending on qualifications
The target hourly rate for the Senior Park Equipment Operator is between $21.78 - $24.68; depending on qualifications
