General Butler State Resort Park, located in Carrollton, KY, provides all the peace and tranquility of the country while only minutes from the city. General Butler offers guests a 53-room lodge, 23 cottages, 111-site campground, a full-service restaurant, mini golf, boat dock, shelters, trails, the historic Butler-Turpin House, a conference center, and playgrounds.
The Park Desk Clerk is the first person our guests will talk with as they are planning their visit with us, and usually the first person they meet when arriving for their stay. The ideal Park Desk Clerk candidate is friendly and outgoing and understands the importance of remaining focused on providing legendary service to the thousands of guests who visit the park throughout the year. As a Park Desk Clerk, you will be a key member of our team at the Front Desk and assisting in providing excellent customer service delivered to every visitor.
Responsibilities
- Front line guest interaction via the telephone, email and in person
- Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner
- Learn the offerings of the park and surrounding area and relate this knowledge to answer guests' inquiries intelligently and thoroughly
- Work under pressure
- Maintain excellent grooming standards
- Work a variety of shifts or hours based on guest needs
- Respond to a range of different work situations
- Work independently or in teams
- Use, or learn to use, a computer-based reservation system
Requirements
- High School Graduate
Pay
- $13.76 - $20.64 Hourly
Schedule
- 37.5 HR/WK
- Eligible for overtime pay
- Willing to work a variety of shifts or hours based on guest needs
