Open Positions for Suburban Cook County Online Application Consortium
About the role
The Consortium is seeking individuals who are passionate about providing high-quality online education services. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to student success.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the Consortium's online application platform
- Respond to technical issues and user inquiries
- Collaborate with other Consortium staff to ensure seamless service delivery
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new features and improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in online education or IT support
- Strong proficiency in web development and troubleshooting
- Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills
- Experience with popular online application platforms such as Blackboard, Canvas, or Moodle
- Knowledge of web-based technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and server-side scripting languages
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Technical proficiency
