About the Role

Littlefield ISD seeks an energetic, caring, and positive individual to help meet the physical and instructional needs of primary students.

Responsibilities

• Able to stand and interact in a positive manner supervising students from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM daily
• Provide instruction to students under the direction of a teacher; work with individual students or small groups
• Assist teacher in preparing instructional materials and classroom displays
• Help maintain a neat and orderly classroom
• Provide orientation and assistance to substitute teachers
• Help supervise students throughout the school day, inside and outside the classroom, including lunchroom, bus, and playground duty
• Participate in staff development training programs, faculty meetings, and special events as directed
• Maintain emotional control during times of stress
