About the role
The Paraprofessional at Flint Springs Elementary will support classroom instruction under the supervision of a teacher.
Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining a safe and orderly learning environment
- Support students with individualized instruction
- Help manage classroom materials and supplies
- Participate in professional development activities
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Indiana teaching license or ability to obtain one within six months
- Experience working with children in a school setting preferred
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer literacy including keyboarding and email
Skills
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm for working with children
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
Pay
$14.50 per hour
