About the role

Supports the educational mission of the consortium by providing academic instruction and support services to students.

Responsibilities

• Teach core curriculum subjects in accordance with district standards and guidelines.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with state and federal educational requirements.
• Assess student progress through various methods and provide feedback to parents/guardians.
• Collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and support staff to enhance teaching effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate records and report on student performance to the administration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
• Valid teaching license in the state of Michigan.
• At least two years of teaching experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Pass a background check.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills
