Assignment Experience (What You Can Expect) (When available, ESS Clinical shares real assignment details early in the process) Assignment details and student support needs discussed before submission Support students across a variety of grade levels (PreK–12 opportunities) Individual and small-group student support Opportunities to work alongside Teachers, Intervention Specialists, Counselors, and Administration Collaborative school teams focused on student success Your Impact as an Paraprofessional You’ll play an important role in helping students succeed academically, socially, and behaviorally by providing individualized support, reinforcing instruction, and helping create a safe and positive learning environment. Core Responsibilities Assist students with academic tasks, assignments, and classroom activities Provide individual or small-group support under the direction of classroom teachers and school staff Support students with special needs in accordance with school procedures and individualized education plans (IEPs), as appropriate Reinforce classroom instruction and learning activities Assist with classroom routines, transitions, and organization Monitor and support student behavior using strategies established by the school team Maintain a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment Communicate observations and student needs to appropriate school staff Collaborate with teachers, Intervention Specialists, counselors, and other school personnel Support school-wide activities and other student support needs as assigned What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent; some positions may require additional education or coursework Experience working with children, students, or individuals with disabilities preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Patience, reliability, and professionalism Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a school team Passion for supporting student growth and success Compensation & Benefits ESS Clinical believes in supporting the whole professional — not just filling a role.
