Core Responsibilities

• Assist students with academic tasks, assignments, and classroom activities
• Provide individual or small-group support under the direction of classroom teachers and school staff
• Support students with special needs in accordance with school procedures and individualized education plans (IEPs), as appropriate
• Reinforce classroom instruction and learning activities
• Aid in classroom routines, transitions, and organization
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment
• Communicate observations and student needs to appropriate school staff
• Collaborate with teachers, Intervention Specialists, counselors, and other school personnel
• Support school-wide activities and other student support needs as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent; some positions may require additional education or coursework
• Experience working with children, students, or individuals with disabilities preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Patience, reliability, and professionalism
• Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a school team
