Paraprofessional - Lunch/Recess - Andrews (2 Positions)

About the role

Provides supervision and assistance to students during lunch and recess periods at Andrews Elementary.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during lunch and recess to ensure safety and appropriate behavior.
• Assist teachers in managing student behavior and maintaining classroom order.
• Participate in planning and implementing recess activities that promote physical activity and social skills.
• Ensure all students are accounted for during transitions between activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents.
• Basic computer literacy, including email usage.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of child development and behavior management strategies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Pass a background check.

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic first aid and CPR certification preferred.
