Kindergarten/Lunch and Recess Paraprofessional

Schedule

8:30 AM – 3:00 PM (6 hours, including 0.5 hour unpaid lunch)

Pay

Starting rate: $21.44 per hour

Responsibilities

• Support kindergarten students throughout the school day
• Provide classroom and literacy support
• Create a safe, welcoming, and positive environment for students during lunch and/or recess through active supervision and relationship-building

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively with students
• Ability to provide positive and effective supervision
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to make decisions independently
