Paraprofessional/educational assistant

BAYADA Behavioral Health is seeking energetic, confident Paraprofessionals / Skills Trainers to provide strong, supportive guidance to children with special needs. Deliver one-to-one services in school settings for students ages three through twenty, helping them build essential skills and achieve meaningful progress.

Current openings in Honokaa, Kealakehe, Kohala, Konawaena, and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Work one-to-one with clients on behaviors, goals, and client needs
• Collect daily client data

Requirements

• A minimum of 48 college credits OR a passing score of 459 on the Paraprofessional Assessment exam (including both Math & English at levels 100 or higher)
• Ability to read and write in English

Pay

$16–$22 per hour, depending on experience.
