Paraprofessional/educational assistant

BAYADA Behavioral Health is seeking energetic, confident Paraprofessionals / Skills Trainers to provide strong, supportive guidance to children with special needs. In this role, you will deliver one-to-one services in school settings, working with students ages three through twenty. Openings are available in Honoka'a, Laupahoehoe, Waimea, Kohala, Waikoloa, Kona, and surrounding areas.

About the role

Our Paraprofessionals / Skills Trainers play a key part in helping children build essential skills and achieve meaningful progress in their daily lives.

Responsibilities

• Work one-to-one with clients on behaviors, goals, and client needs
• Collect daily client data

Requirements

• A minimum of 48 college credits OR
• Passing score of 459 on Paraprofessional Assessment exam (including both Math & English at levels 100 or higher)
• Ability to read and write in English

Pay

$16–$22 per hour, depending on experience.
