Paraprofessional - Alternative Programs

Regular and timely attendance is an essential function of this position.

Schedule

6.5 hours per day; 184 days per year.

Qualifications

• College transcripts showing a minimum of 48 hours of earned college credit, or obtained an associate's degree (or higher), or met a rigorous standard of quality and can demonstrate through a formal State or local assessment (Para Pro Assessment Test).
• Knowledge of and the ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics or knowledge of, and the ability to assist in instructing reading readiness, as appropriate.
• Sensitivity toward needs of English Language Learners.
