Responsibilities
- Travel to Radiology Regional's various outpatient medical office settings throughout Southwest Florida as needed from Sarasota-Naples region.
- Start IV’s.
- Monitor patients.
- Administer medication for various reactions as needed.
- Enact code policy as needed.
- Patient lifting as needed.
- Administer Flu vaccinations.
- Answer telephone as needed.
- Call in advance of scheduled exams to verify appointments as needed.
- Dispense and or explain preps for different exams as needed.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- BLS is required (Basic Life Support Certification).
- Florida Paramedic and ACLS certifications is required.
- Ability to relate to the public in a professional and courteous manner, understanding the objectives of the organization, regardless of racial, ethnic, religion, sexual orientation, gender, mental/physical health, age, economic status, etc.
- Responds to emergency situations in a calm and appropriate fashion.
Qualifications
- Must be detail-oriented and organized, and have the ability to interact effectively with doctors, staff, patients, vendors, peers, and management.
- Physical Demands: Ability to concentrate on detailed work for prolonged periods of time. Ability to adjust routine to accommodate patient or department without affecting departmental flow. Ability to assist with lifting patients if needed. Perform moderately difficult manipulative skills and eye-hand coordination skills. See objects closely. Hear normal sounds with some background noises. Ability to concentrate on moderate detail with frequent interruption and attend to tasks for less than 10 minutes at a time. Ability to understand and relate to specific ideas generally, several at a time. Ability to communicate verbally, using standard high-school vocabulary. This position often requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching with hands and arms, using hands and fingers, handling or palpating, speaking, listening, and high-level cognition. Also, must be able to lift over 50 pounds, occasionally.

Pay
Pay range is $25-$30 per hour.
