Paramedic - Night Shift

About the Role

This position involves providing emergency and non-emergency ambulance services, including patient assessment, care, and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver emergency care for the sick and injured, utilizing Advanced Life Support skills such as cardiac monitoring and emergency medications.
• Transport patients safely, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to insurance requirements.
• Perform daily mechanical inspections and inventory of ambulance equipment and supplies.
• Maintain all required certifications and CEU hours to keep EMS license in good standing.
• Ensure ambulance cleanliness, organization, and proper stocking per state standards.
• Advocate for patients by completing necessary paperwork and documentation accurately.

Requirements

• Valid TN State Paramedic License in good standing or ability to reciprocity.
• Preferred age of 21+ due to driving requirements; alternative roles may be available for younger applicants.
• Current BLS CPR, PALS, ACLS, and PHTLS certifications.
• Willingness to undergo background check and drug screening.
• No felony convictions or exclusions from federally funded programs.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift in excess of 125 pounds, including two-person lifts up to 250 pounds.
