Role Overview The Paramedic, working under the supervision of a Professional Registered Nurse and/or Physician, is responsible for providing culturally sensitive, age-appropriate patient care, maintaining a safe environment, educating patients and families, and effectively communicating. They participate in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of healthcare services, while also engaging in patient advocacy, teaching, performance improvement, and overseeing unlicensed personnel. Responsibilities Facilitate patient-centered care, ensure safety, educate, collect information, and utilize technology effectively. Contribute to healthcare delivery through assessment, planning, and evaluation. Support patient advocacy, staff education, and quality improvement initiatives, while supervising unlicensed team members. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED requiredPreferred 1 year of Paramedic experienceCurrent BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (PALS within 6 months if applicable)Licensed Paramedic certification in the state of Georgia required; national certification preferred
