Key Responsibilities
- Provide structured field training and mentorship to probationary and existing field employees in accordance with AmeriPro EMS policies, procedures, and standards.
- Evaluate employee performance, document progress, and coordinate with administrative staff to determine field readiness and program completion.
- Conduct remedial training and performance improvement for current employees as needed.
- Review patient care reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with approved medical protocols.
- Participate in the review, development, and implementation of patient care protocols and operational guidelines.
- Ensure completion of required daily, weekly, and monthly unit check-offs and maintain operational readiness of units and crews.
- Serve as a professional role model by maintaining high standards of appearance, conduct, readiness, and interpersonal communication while on and off duty.
- Support supervisory operations by reporting deficiencies, enforcing compliance, and assuming acting supervisory responsibilities when assigned in the absence of a Shift Supervisor or Shift Lieutenant.

- Occasionally required to sit, climb, stand, or balance;
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 180 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 300 pounds with assistance from others;
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Qualifications
- Previous EMT work experience;
- Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) and/or International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) training;
- Certification & Licensure Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification;
- Current State Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification / licensure in good standing;
- Current National Registry NREMT certification (if required by state);
- Current CPR BLS certification;
- Valid State driver's license;
- FEMA IS Certifications (IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, IS-800);
- Strong people skills and proven ability to collaborate in a team;
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to comprehend and execute instructions in English.
