Position Summary
The Paramedic functions as a member of the care team and participates in the care of ill and injured patients. Responsibilities include patient care, incorporating stabilization, and intervention techniques consistent with standards and protocols approved by the Medical Director. The Paramedic functions as part of a team and shares responsibility for the team's conduct.
Minimum Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A graduate from an approved Paramedic program is required.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification is required.
- A current certification by the State of North Carolina as a Paramedic (NC EMT-P Certification) is required.
Pay Range
$21.53 - $31.38

- Rotating shifts available, 12 hour shifts, PRN (on an as needed basis), including weekends and holidays.
