Paramedic

About the role

Paramedic responsible for delivering high-quality, compassionate emergency medical care and basic to advanced patient services.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine appropriate action following protocols.
• Utilize medical equipment such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, and intravenous fluids.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families to provide reassurance.
• Lead scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance during emergency responses.
• Collaborate professionally with healthcare and public safety teams.
• Participate in community outreach to maintain positive relations and promote the organization’s image.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• State Paramedic License and trauma certification (PHTLS or equivalent).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Credentials including BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic.
• Ability to pass physical agility tests.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
