Paramedic

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Flight Paramedic to join our air transportation team, providing safe and efficient patient transport to and from medical facilities and scene calls in a dynamic environment. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records promptly
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotic counts
• Provide advanced life support care from initial contact to relinquishment at medical facilities
• Maintain competency through ongoing training and education
• Ensure proper documentation of licensure, certifications, and procedures
• Operate and maintain emergency equipment and supplies
• Foster positive relationships with colleagues, EMS, hospitals, and the public
• Participate in pre-mission briefings, safety procedures, and assist with aircraft checklists and pilot support as needed
• Fill open shifts as required by management

Requirements

• At least three years of experience in 911 or critical care settings
• Current EMT-P license in the assigned area
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma
• FP-C certification within 24 months of hire

Qualifications

• Preferred instructor certifications
• NREMT-P certification depending on location
