About the role
Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in emergency settings.
Responsibilities
- Utilize medical equipment and procedures such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, IV fluids, CPR, and medications.
- Drive ambulances and support navigation to ensure quick response times.
- Maintain certifications, document patient care and billing accurately, and communicate effectively with dispatchers.
- Monitor and maintain ambulance readiness, cleanliness, and supplies.
- Follow policies on response and turnaround times, considering patient needs and transportation destinations.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare and public safety personnel.
- Be flexible to work beyond scheduled shifts.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; advanced education preferred.
- Current state Paramedic license, valid driver’s license, and relevant certifications (BCLS, ACLS, PALS, etc.).
- Good physical stamina, endurance, and ability to lift and carry equipment.
- Ability to pass a physical agility test and adhere to safety policies.
