About the role

Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in emergency settings.

Responsibilities

• Utilize medical equipment and procedures such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, IV fluids, CPR, and medications.
• Drive ambulances and support navigation to ensure quick response times.
• Maintain certifications, document patient care and billing accurately, and communicate effectively with dispatchers.
• Monitor and maintain ambulance readiness, cleanliness, and supplies.
• Follow policies on response and turnaround times, considering patient needs and transportation destinations.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare and public safety personnel.
• Be flexible to work beyond scheduled shifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; advanced education preferred.
• Current state Paramedic license, valid driver’s license, and relevant certifications (BCLS, ACLS, PALS, etc.).
• Good physical stamina, endurance, and ability to lift and carry equipment.
• Ability to pass a physical agility test and adhere to safety policies.
