As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for assisting with patient care and provides support to patients, families and Center team members. This is a temporary (PRN) position, working variable shifts. We offer PRN pay on all hours worked. Essential Duties And Responsibilities (95%) Paramedic Responsibilities Prepares patients for imaging procedures- lab work, changing clothing, IV's, vital signs, etc.Reviews patient history and complete appropriate consents forms as neededAdministers medication according to protocols and clinic guidelines, under guidance of RadiologistUtilizes competent IV start skillsParticipates in an efficient workflow to assist keeping CT/MRI on scheduleMaintains stock in drug boxEvaluates and assists with emergency procedures- contrast reactions, code situationsMaintains clean and stocked work environmentCompletes required administrative duties, including use of clocking system, completing CD requests, billing sheetsProjects professional attitude to all customers/patients at all timesMaintains good interpersonal working relationships at all timesNotifies team leader if stock items are neededAssists with training new staff as requested ensuring a positive learning experienceAssists with proper patient preparationAssures proper documentation in the RIS system (5%) Other Duties and Projects as Assigned Remote Position No Status Temporary/PRN Requirements Required: High School Diploma, or equivalentGraduate of a Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP) approved paramedic education program (or an education program that has been issued a CoAEMSP "Letter of Review") that meets or exceeds the National Emergency Medical Services Education Standards for Paramedic, January 1, 2013, and afterCertified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) AND Paramedic, current and in good standing, by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT)State licensed/certified Paramedic as applicable, current and in good standingTwo (2) years' experience in the emergency medical field, or four (4) years' experience in transport servicesExperienced and skilled in starting patient IVsCertification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)Certification in ACLS (Advance Cardiac Life Support)Current Tuberculosis (TB) test Preferred Bilingual RAYUS is committed to delivering clinical excellence in communities across the U.S., driven by our passion for and superior service to referring providers and patients.
