Paramedic

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Paramedic to provide compassionate, high‑quality patient care through both basic and advanced medical services.

Responsibilities

• Assess call situations and determine appropriate actions using paramedic protocols.
• Utilize medical equipment such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, and IV fluids.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide reassurance.
• Act as scene and unit leader.
• Collaborate with healthcare and public safety teams.
• Develop triage skills for efficient response.
• Follow clinical protocols and safety standards.
• Lift and move patients safely.
• Communicate with receiving facilities.
• Operate ambulances and support navigation.
• Coordinate with dispatchers.
• Participate in community programs and maintain relationships with healthcare facilities.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current Montana Paramedic Certification or pending application.
• National Registry certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• CPR, ACLS, PALS, or PEPP certification.
• Clean driving record.
• Pass drug screening, background check, and physical agility tests.

Schedule

Overnight shifts.
