Paramedic

Responsibilities

• Cook up and administer SPRAVATO® and ketamine-based treatment visits (as applicable) in accordance with clinical protocols, provider orders, and required monitoring standards.
• Ensure a safe, supportive treatment environment through consistent patient preparation, observation, documentation, and adherence to emergency and safety procedures.
• Support efficient patient flow and scheduling coordination for treatment days, including readiness checks, room/space preparation, and timely communication with clinicians and operational partners.
• Provide high-quality patient service, education (within scope), and service recovery to support engagement and retention in treatment.
• Check equipment, maintain equipment, report needs for equipment.
• Lead and coordinate patient treatments and report to other HCP.
• Evaluate the patient’s physical, mental and emotional condition.
• Use tech equipment and tools to monitor patients.
• Collaborate with providers and ensure continuity of care.
• Write and submit concrete and accurate patient reports.
• Adhere to established medical protocols and procedures as well as legal guidelines and health and safety standards.
• Keep abreast with new treatment and medical procedures through continuous training.
• Must be able to use Microsoft Office.
• Be able to check inventory, log medications administrated, ensure compliance.
• Effectively communicate with HCP’s, co-workers, patients and their caregivers.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a paramedic.
• Knowledge of medical procedures, terminology and medications.
• Ability to stay calm and make the right decisions in stressful situations.
• Adaptable with a great deal of calm.
• Excellent working knowledge of medical equipment and devices.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Georgia Paramedic License.
• NREMT Paramedic.
• BLS and ACLS Certifications preferred.
• EHR (Athena) experience highly preferred.
