Paramedic

Our mission is to deliver high-quality, compassionate care to the people who depend on us. We’re currently seeking a dedicated Paramedic to join our Emergency Department at our Bucyrus location.
About the role
- Meets the communication needs of the patient, family and staff.
- Prepares and compiles records within the facility.
- Initiates directions from Providers and the nursing.
- Maintains regulatory agency requirements, nursing and facility policies and procedures as well as standards.
- Provides basic patient care (not to exceed scope of practice) as directed by Providers or nursing staff.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Licensed as a Paramedic by the State of Ohio.
- BLS certification or obtained within thirty (30) days of hire.
- PALS and ACLS certification or obtained within six (6) months of hire.
- NRP certification or obtained within nine (9) months of hire.
- TNCC certification or obtained within one (1) year of hire.
Preferred:
- STNA Certification.
- Previous experience working in an ED Hospital setting.
