Tort and Condemnation Paralegal Duties

  • Assisting in all aspects of civil litigation, from inception through trial, settlement, or appeal
  • Cooking requests for representation from client agencies
  • Drafting and responding to discovery requests and assisting in discovery management
  • Interviewing and preparing witnesses
  • Analyzing and summarizing medical records, other evidence, and witness testimony
  • Cooking with expert witnesses, including preparing contracts, managing billing, and assisting attorneys in preparing witnesses for testimony
  • Communicating and coordinating directly with clients and witnesses
  • Representing the Attorney General’s Office with the highest ethical and professional standards

Requirements

Commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

  • Paralegal certificate or equivalent
  • Experience in civil litigation
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

$6,330.00 - $7,929.00 per year

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
