Paralegal (Temp)

About the role

The Las Vegas, NV office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a Temporary (with potential for permanent placement) paralegal with litigation experience.

Schedule

This position is expected to be for a duration of ten (10) months based on a 37.50 hour work week.

Responsibilities

• Working for a minimum of four attorneys
• Calendaring
• Document management including review, creation, and organization
• Compiling information for discovery responses, interrogatories, pleadings, motions, depositions, and trial preparation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate (certificate may be required based on region, state, or client requirements)
• At least three (3) years of litigation work experience
• Annual billable requirement of 1,600 hours

Skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
• Strong Excel skills required
• Strong organizational, written & verbal communication skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
• Ability to work flexible and/or fluctuating work hours
