Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Paralegal specializing in Probate and Estate Planning for our Myrtle Beach office.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the preparation of estate planning documents
  • Preparing documents for probate and trust administration
  • Preparing probate and trust accountings
  • Preparing documents for business transactions
  • Document analysis and management
  • Communicating with clients
  • Communicating and filing documents with various courts, but primarily probate courts

Requirements

  • Three to five years complex Trust and Estate experience is preferred
  • Bachelor of Arts degree or Paralegal Certification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products - Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and employees of all levels of the firm.
  • Experience in electronic document discovery and database management
  • Team Member who participates in shared office duties and requirements
