Paralegal III

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of legal documents and correspondence
• Draft and revise all forms of transaction/deal documents
• Lien searches, UCC filings, other transactional filings
• Administrative support including: Document execution and production support, Update and maintain matter management system (Onit), Track attorney workflows, Review and revise basic NDAs and similar agreements, Build and manage library of template documents, Assist with the preparation of reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
• General support of projects for the Legal department, as needed

Qualifications

• Expertise in Microsoft Office Programs
• Comfortable learning and utilizing legal technology tools and software, including AI-based tool
• 3-5 years of experience as a transactional paralegal
• Self-motivated team player with the proven ability to work independently and handle numerous competing demands in a high-volume, fast-paced working environment, frequently under urgent deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Genuine interest in transactions, insurance and finance
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential information sensitively and discreetly
• Flexibility with overtime

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous law firm experience and/or in-house legal department experience
• 5+ years of experience as a transactional paralegal
