Responsibilities

  • Drafting correspondence, pleadings, and discovery documents
  • Trial preparation including electronic presentations, coordinating witnesses, and managing trial exhibits
  • Electronic filings
  • Docketing court filing deadlines
  • Aiding with document productions
  • Other tasks as needed

Requirements

  • Five or more years of experience as a litigation Paralegal in a law firm or legal department
  • An Associate’s degree, or the equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Paralegal Certificate preferred
  • Experience supporting one or more of the following practice group(s) required: Litigation, Health Care
  • Proficiency in federal Electronic Filing
  • Experience with eDiscovery software; familiarity with Relativity preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Adobe Acrobat
  • Experience using a legal time and billing system
  • Experience with trial presentation software preferred
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Motivated, self-directed individual with ability to anticipate and resolve issues
  • Ability to prioritize work projects and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be a team player, willing to help other team members during peak times

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Must be able to pass a background check

Pay

$60,000 - $80,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week
