About the role
Responsible for assisting in estate planning legal matters, including drafting documents, conducting research, and preparing client communications.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and review of estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, and power of attorney forms.
- Research relevant laws and regulations to support legal strategies and recommendations.
- Prepare and send client correspondence and updates regarding estate planning matters.
- Participate in meetings with clients and colleagues to discuss estate planning needs and solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in law or related field.
- Experience in legal settings preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications
- Admitted to practice law in at least one state.
- Knowledge of estate planning and probate law.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Skills
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of estate planning software.
