Job Summary

Under the guidance and supervision of the USL Legal Counsel; USL IP Counsel; and USL Director of Compliance, the Paralegal / Corporate Compliance Specialist will support the legal operations, including general legal matters and IP related matters. This is a critical regulatory compliance role responsible for managing and maintaining all state Board of Pharmacy licenses and related credentials for our pharmaceutical operations. This is an onsite/hybrid role located in Minnesota.

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for assigned activities of the Legal department, including maintaining contract lifecycle management, processing invoices and other activities that ensure an efficient and effective legal operation.
  • Responsible for reviewing, drafting, and redlining a broad range of commercial contracts, including Confidentiality Agreements (CDAs), Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and vendor agreements.
  • Ensures that the organization remains fully compliant with state and federal licensing regulations across all jurisdictions where we operate.
  • Serves as the primary liaison with state Boards of Pharmacy and other regulatory bodies, overseeing the complete lifecycle of operational licenses from initial application through renewal and audit management.
  • Completes all reports required to maintain these licenses.
  • Undertakes special projects that promote the efficiency and effectiveness of legal operations at Company, including, for example, records management.
  • Develops and leverages collaborative relationships across the Company to provide guidance and support for activities to ensure the Company meets its obligations on legal-related matters.
  • Supports special projects as needed, including facilitating exchange of information between Bora Headquarters and other Bora divisions.

Minimum Education, Experience, Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required in a Business-related discipline.
  • Paralegal certificate OR equivalent work experience strongly desired.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience supporting a legal function including responsibility for corporate compliance related functions required.
  • State Licensing experience nice to have.
  • Previous experience within pharmaceuticals is preferred.

Travel Requirements

Potentially 6-8 times a year.
