Paralegal - Children & Youth (Part Time)

Description

This is a professional legal position that involves assisting LCOCYS counsel with preparing for appeal hearings held by the Bureau of Hearings and Appeals ("BHA"). This is an on-site position that requires excellent communication and organizational skills, the ability to prioritize, and the capacity to adhere to deadlines.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate, or any equivalent combination of acceptable training and/or experience which has provided the knowledge and skills cited above is required.
• A criminal background check may be required.

Schedule

This position requires approximately 19 hours of work per week. The timing of these work hours is flexible.
