Job Summary

A 1.75 hour/day position working 195 days/year, 75% duty supervision. Salary schedule: $11.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Support classroom teachers in providing a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Assist students with academic and social-emotional needs under the guidance of teachers.
  • Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with other school staff to ensure the successful implementation of district policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children in a school setting is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Pass a background check.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of child development and learning theories.

Skills

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
