Paraeducator - Supervision / Title I: General Education (2026-27)
Job Summary
A 1.75 hour/day position working 195 days/year, 75% duty supervision. Salary schedule: $11.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Support classroom teachers in providing a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Assist students with academic and social-emotional needs under the guidance of teachers.
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with other school staff to ensure the successful implementation of district policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with children in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Pass a background check.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of child development and learning theories.
Skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
