Paraeducator - Admin / Instructional: General Education (2026-27)
About the role
A paraeducator is needed to assist teachers in providing quality education to students. This position works 6.5 hours per day, 195 days per year.
Responsibilities
- Support classroom instruction
- Assist with student activities and behavior management
- Provide additional support as directed by teachers
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
Qualifications
- Experience working with children preferred
- Pass a background check
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Knowledge of special education principles and practices
