Paraeducator-ELOP (Part-time)

Lateral transfer posting open for the first 3 days (8/12/2026 – 8/14/2026). Promotional and qualified internal applicants considered after no lateral interest (5 days: 8/12/2026 – 8/18/2026). Outside applicants considered after all qualified in-district applicants are interviewed.

Pay

$19.57 - $23.81 per hour (5-step increments per contract; highest placement with experience is step 3).

Schedule

3.5 hours per day / 180 days per year.

Requirements

• High School diploma (or equivalent) and one of the following:
  • 48 college units
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree
  • Passing score (70% in both ELA and Math) on the Paraprofessional Exam administered by the Sutter County Superintendent of Schools (970 Klamath Lane, Yuba City, (530) 822-2900)
• Proof of the above requirement must be attached to the online application (college transcripts or Paraprofessional Exam passing-score letter).
