About the role
The San Mateo-Foster City School District is seeking a Para Educator II-Lead Teacher for their Extended Day program. This position involves planning and implementing learning and enrichment activities for students, providing physical care and safety, leading supervision over assigned extended day program teachers and assistants, maintaining official documents and records, and performing related work as assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications
- Must have a Children's Center Permit or Child Development Associate (CDA)
- OR completion of 12 college units in recreation, physical education, elementary education or early childhood development
- CPR Certificate and First Aid required
- Current California drivers license

(An AA degree or higher may waive the district reading, math test). Reading, math and writing tests are required unless waived based on prior education and/or experience.
Benefits
The district offers 10 paid sick leave, 14 paid holidays, and a District contribution towards medical/dental coverage. The employment type is full-time and the length of the work year is 10 months per year.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $29.20 - $38.23 per hour.
Schedule
This position works Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m., and 11:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
