Paper Machine Mechanic

Minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience

Journey man status preferred

2-year technical degree or 5 years industrial work experience in relevant mechanical field.

• Completion of required mill & safety training
• Must pass the applicable employment tests STM Assessment (mechanical aptitude at the maintenance level)
• Must pass the interview process

Experience & Skill:

• Self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision
• Employee in good standing (no corrective actions, written reprimand or above, currently on record)

Professional communication skills

Computer literate

Ability & Fitness:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Climb ladders and stairs
• Stand for continuous periods of time
• Ability to work rotating 12 hr shifts, OT & weekends/holidays
• Ability to work in a hot, humid, noisy & high volume machine production area
• Ability and willingness to work safely & wear PPE as required
• Meeting current Attendance expectations
