About the role

The Pantry Cook/Garde Manger at Le Depot Brasserie is responsible for preparing and maintaining a variety of food items, ensuring that all products meet high standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and maintains a variety of food items, including salads, sandwiches, and cold appetizers.
  • Ensures all products meet high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Works closely with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef to develop new recipes and improve existing ones.
  • Assists in inventory management and ordering supplies.
  • Follows all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar kitchen position.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety regulations.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in using kitchen equipment and tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new recipes and techniques.

Skills

  • Knowledge of culinary arts and food preparation.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

Pay

$15.00 per hour.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
