Responsibilities
- Read and interpret customer diagrams and documentation and communicate with project team to understand objectives and preferences.
- Confer with engineering staff, manufacturing staff, and other personnel to resolve problems.
- Perform panel power and heat calculations.
- Update panel layout and detail drawings based on markups in accordance with company and customer standards.
- Update PLC module and electrical drawings based on markups in accordance with company and customer standards.
- Perform self and peer review checks of panel drawings.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma and AutoCAD training and/or experience.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, vendors, project managers, and coworkers.
- Work with mathematical concepts such as basic math, algebra, and geometry.
- Apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- An understanding of AutoCAD, MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), and documentation software (Adobe Pro).
- No certifications are required.
