Palto Alto Network Engineer - Consultant

About the Role

This contract opportunity is for a senior-level network and cloud security professional focused on designing, deploying, and optimizing secure cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure environments. The role supports large-scale application and infrastructure initiatives with a hands-on emphasis on Palo Alto VM-Series firewalls and F5 BIG-IP LTM technologies. This is a hybrid role based in Columbia, SC.

Responsibilities

• Architecture and implementation of zero-trust security controls
• Security policy design
• Threat prevention tuning
• Panorama management
• Log analysis and troubleshooting across cloud environments
• Work closely with technical stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and highly available solutions
• Maintain strong documentation and operational effectiveness in development, test, and production settings
